UPDATE: Awich and JP THE WAVY, two of Japanâs hottest hip-hop artists, have joined the must-see ennichi â25 lineup! They will join f5ve and PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE to perform live in Los Angeles on December 2nd. The name of the event, âennichiâ, is a Japanese word referring to traditional festivities thought to bring blessings to those who attend.
True to its name, the inaugural ennichi â25 will bring the wonders of Japanese culture to Southern California. By showcasing acclaimed Japanese artists on stage, the diversity of Japanese pop music will underpin the ennichi festival vibes which will feature local food vendors as well as traditional festival games. Attendees will discover and re-discover Japan through music, culture, and a memorable experience which will engage all five senses.

ennichi â25 is presented by CEIPA (The Japan Culture and Entertainment Industry Promotion Association) and the TOYOTA GROUP. This event follows CEIPAâs smash hit event âmatsuri â25â, which showcased leading Japanese pop music artists performing live in Los Angeles earlier this year in March.
Awich is often described as the âQueen of Japanese Hip-Hopâ, and she has continuously been expanding her prescence and influence beyond Japan and Asia into the U.S. Following up her brilliant performance at Coachella last year, Awich has made appearances on the East Coast earlier this summer, and now eagerly awaiting fans will finally have a chance to see her again on the West Coast.
JP THE WAVY is a rapper who is redefining the norms of modern hip-hop by creating music which blends genres and sporting a bold style of fashion. Having shared the stage with Awich last year at Coachella as part of the 88RISING FUTURES showcase, JP THE WAVY will continue to make the stage a bridge between Japan and the U.S. at ennichi â25.
f5ve are SAYAKA, KAEDE, MIYUU, RURI, and RUI - the five members embody the concept of âDream Agentsâ who are individuals bringing dreams to life across every dimension. PSYCHIC FEVER is a seven-member boy group consisting of KOKORO, WEESA, TSURUGI, RYOGA, REN, JIMMY, and RYUSHIN. They debuted in July 2022 as the seventh group from âEXILE TRIBE,â an unparalleled Japanese artist collective under LDH JAPAN.
