Legendary Japanese composer and sound designer Akira Yamaoka is embarking on his highly anticipated first-ever U.S. Tour, presented by Live Nation. The tour is set to deliver an immersive live performance experience showcasing his iconic body of work.
Akira Yamaoka is renowned for his visionary work across video games, film, and television. His groundbreaking music for the Silent Hill franchise established him as a master of psychological horror. Beyond Silent Hill, his notable works include No More Heroes, Lollipop Chainsaw, The Medium, and the film adaptations of Silent Hill.
The live show will feature Yamaoka and a full band, blending his signature mix of industrial rock, ambient textures, and emotional melodies with atmospheric visuals to transport audiences into his sonic world. The tour begins at The Belasco in Los Angeles, CA, on February 19, 2026, and includes stops in major cities such as Orlando, New York, and Austin. Each night will feature an opening performance by the internationally recognized artist Raj Ramayya, who is known for his work on projects like Cowboy Bebop and Resident Evil, and for his collaborations with Yoko Kanno.
