From Japan, F5ve (pronounced “fi-vee”) has captivated social media with a series of hit singles, building immense anticipation for their debut album “Sequence 01” to be released in a few days on May 5th. Fueling f5ve’s ascent were the consecutive releases of viral singles “Lettuce”, “Underground”, and “Magic Clock.” This strategic rollout coupled with their genre-blending sound (drawing from hyperpop, trap, and R&B) has effectively engaged a global online audience. Grammy Award-winning producer BloodPop, known for his work with artists like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, served as the executive producer for Sequence 01, bringing his distinct touch to the album and igniting even more anticipation for its release. The project also features a high-profile collaboration with American singer Kesha on the track “Sugar Free Venom,” further amplifying their social media buzz and solidifying their status as a rising force in pop.
