HANABIE. is a Japanese metalcore band from Tokyo, formed in 2015. They are renowned for their unique style, which they’ve dubbed “Harajuku-core,” a fusion of aggressive metalcore, hardcore punk, and nu-metal sounds with contrasting, vibrant Harajuku fashion aesthetics. The four-member band will join forces with Kim Dracula for a co-headlining tour across the U.S., first stopping in two Canadian cities.
HANABIE. consists of vocalist Yukina, guitarist Matsuri, bassist Hettsu, and drummer Chika. The band stands out for Yukina’s dynamic vocal range, which shifts from powerful growls to clean, sometimes even “cute,” melodies. Their music often incorporates elements of hip-hop and electronica, creating a chaotic yet captivating sound. Beyond their music, their visual presentation—colorful outfits and a playful stage presence—sets them apart in the metal scene. They’ve gained a significant international following and have toured extensively, playing major festivals around the world.
